Welcome to Maple Corner! Come relax in this lakeside 4-season, 3-bedroom cabin tucked away in the heart of beautiful Vermont. This rustic but finished cabin features a full kitchen and all amenities you might need for a peaceful getaway. The wide deck overlooking Curtis Pond is the perfect place to have breakfast or listen to the evening loons calling. Swim in the summer, snowshoe or ski in the winter. Walk to the country store or visit Montpelier 15 minutes away for more activities. Come escape!

V2: Ferguson House on Curtis Pond for 3 Nights

Our house is directly on Curtis Pond, in Maple Corner. It is a fantastic location all year long. Summer swimming, leaf peeping in the fall, ice-skating and cross-country skiing right out of the door in winter. The location feels private, but not isolated. The house is great for couples, singles, and families. We have a canoe, kayak and a SUP. Wonderful bird watching! Maple corner is a magical spot. The Maple corner store is within walking distance. Montpelier is 10 miles; Stowe is 30 miles away. This house was just built in 2016. It is very sunny and bright and sits about 18 inches from the lake! The house is about 1300 square feet. Downstairs has a large main room, a bathroom and an extra little room with a daybed. There is a wood burning stove and a propane heater. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. All beds are new and have yummy cotton sheets, cotton quilts and duvets. This a bohemian camp-that is rustic – with luxurious rugs, nice linens, lovely art and a well- supplied kitchen. A10: “Hessdalen Lights” – Original Painting by Sam Colt

This little oneder is a painting made from grassello (which is a white marble and lime-based putty from Florence, Italy), gouache, shellac & silver leaf on 300lb acid-free watercolor board. I called it “Hessdalen Lights” which is a term used in Norway for unidentifiable little lights seen better in marshes, as I felt the term echoes my own personal relationship to the pond.

A11: 10 Cedar Waxwing Blank Notecards by Paige Canfield – SOLD

The Waxwings will leave my chokecherry tree alone all summer… until one day in winter when they arrive enmasse and eat every single fruit in one frenzied session. The cards are A1 size, 3 1/2 x 4 7/8. 10 blank cards and eleven envelopes (because we all make mistakes…). This card is a reproduction of an original design made using origami paper and is commercially printed right here in VT on heavy weight 100#, bright white matte cardstock.

These nature inspired holiday cards remind me of the best part of a Vermont winter, getting out in it! The cards are A1 size, 3 1/2 x 4 7/8. This card is a reproduction of an original design made using origami paper and is commercially printed right here in VT on heavy weight 100# bright white matte cardstock.

A13: Perpetual Calendar by Paige Canfield

This calendar will help you keep track of birthdays, remember when the first frost was last year, or if you live in Vermont, how often it was -25 degrees below zero. These images are reproductions of original designs made using origami paper. This spiral bound calendar measures 5 inches by 13 inches, including the wire hanger, and is commercially printed in Vermont. The front and back covers are 100# card stock, and the inside pages are 80#. Both papers are FSC certified. The calendar comes packaged in a clear protective sleeve.
